?bn-i Sina’n?n Egzersize Bak???: El- Kânûn Fi’t-T?bb Eserinin ?çerik Analizi

Objective: This study aims to examine Avicenna's view of exercise in light the information his book Canon Medicine and discuss approaches 'exercise' with today's literature.Methods: The is qualitative. Five volumes work consisting 6 books total called El-Kânûn Fit-T?bb (The Medicine) which are Turkish translation by Professor Esin Kâhya, were used for content analysis. In book, sections containing subject sent comments relevant analyzed interpreted in-depth.Results: It was observed that themes handled first fourth five-volume book. According theme Medicine; six main topics can be categorized under headings 'prevention health exercise, physiological effects on heart rate, factors related timing, exercise-related problems, excess/insufficiency etiology disease, treatment' have been determined.Conclusion: Although many suggestions made without modern technological opportunities, their equivalents current literature evidence-based contemporary medical data considered as proof Avicenna a physician who transcended ages.
